ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inspect, maintain, and repair fire extinguishers and other fire safety equipment.
• Perform hydrostatic testing and recharging of fire extinguishers.
• Ensure compliance with British Standards (BS 5306-3 and BS 5306-8) and local fire safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
• Provide exceptional customer service and address client concerns and questions.
• Educate clients on proper use and maintenance of fire safety equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
• Stay updated on industry standards and advancements in fire safety technology.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

• Certification as a Fire Extinguisher Technician (FIA, BAFE, or equivalent) preferred.
• Knowledge of British Standards (BS 5306-3 and BS 5306-8) and local fire safety regulations.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment (up to 23 kg)
• Full driving licence.
